With a trauma-informed and survivor-centered approach, Restore provides essential services like safe housing, mental health support, and economic empowerment programs, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Restore addresses the urgent needs of those most vulnerable while striving toward a future free from trafficking, where every survivor can thrive and live a life of restoration and flourishing.
The Challenge
Restore was in need of outside support to manage its brand during a time of transition. In the early days of our collaboration, it was an exciting time for the organization, as they had just received the 2024 Presidential Award for Combatting Human Trafficking, and needed support in promoting that very prestigious recognition.

We collaborated with their team to identify key pages on the organization’s website that needed more substantive content and designed and developed new pages to communicate the scope of their work and their outcomes-based impact more clearly.

Restore now has refreshed core messaging, elevated content and design on its homepage and programs pages, and a new “Our Impact” page that highlights its effective and impact-driven approach.

We partnered with Restore NYC to update key messaging that establishes a cohesive framework to inspire action and amplify its impact in making freedom real for survivors of trafficking. Through this process, we helped to provide more substantive and comprehensive descriptions of their programs, including the best-in-class impact and evaluation work they do.
Website Updates
Starting with the Restore homepage, we introduced a refreshed look and feel while updating the descriptions of their core programming. Key data was featured to emphasize their impact-driven work, along with recognition of their 2024 Presidential Award for Extraordinary Efforts to Combat Trafficking in Persons.
We also enhanced the “Our Programs” page with extended program descriptions that provide their target audience with a clear understanding of the holistic nature of their work.
Elevating Restore's Impact
We partnered with Restore to design a best-in-class "Our Impact" page that sets a new standard for transparency, measurable outcomes, and data-driven storytelling. Unlike many nonprofits that focus on outputs like "meals served" or "people reached," Restore digs deeper, showcasing the life-changing outcomes their programs deliver.
Key highlights include:
- 91% of clients in core services are free from trafficking within 12 months.
- Survivors experience a 303% increase in earnings through their Economic Empowerment program.
- 96% of survivors secure stable housing within a year through their Housing program.
A cornerstone of Restore’s approach is their innovative Freedom Index, which holistically measures survivor progress in housing stability, job security, mental well-being, and safety—giving donors a clear view of how their support drives meaningful change.
